Termit Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 28, 2026
Termit is a mobile command center for controlling local Codex and Kimi coding sessions through a user-run bridge.
Data Termit Processes
Termit may process the following data on your device:
- Bridge connection settings such as base URL, default agent, and local host/project labels.
- Bridge bearer token, stored in iOS Keychain.
- Chat prompts and agent responses shown in the session transcript.
- Tool, approval, completion, and error events from your local bridge.
- Files, photos, or camera captures you explicitly attach to a session.
- Local notification content for approval, completion, and error events.
Data Collection
The current app does not operate a Termit cloud service and does not send analytics, advertising identifiers, or tracking data to Prom Studio. Data is exchanged between your iPhone and the bridge endpoint you configure.
If you configure a bridge URL, your prompts, attachments, and bridge token are sent to that bridge. You are responsible for operating that bridge securely.
Storage
- Bridge tokens are stored in iOS Keychain.
- Non-secret bridge settings are stored locally using app storage.
- The local bridge stores uploaded attachments under the session working directory's
termit-inboxfolder.
Third Parties
Termit does not include third-party SDKs in the current native app. Codex, Kimi, and any tools they call run in your local environment and are governed by their own accounts, tools, and configurations.
Security
Termit requires HTTPS for non-loopback bridge URLs. HTTP is allowed only for loopback development URLs such as http://127.0.0.1:8765.
Data Deletion
Delete the app to remove local app data. Remove the bridge token from Termit settings or uninstall the app to remove the Keychain item. Delete the bridge-side termit-inbox folder and session logs on your development machine to remove uploaded attachments and local bridge artifacts.
